Slicethepie

Here's a pretty fun website I discovered to make some extra cash. Just extra pocket money, but every bit makes a difference. This particular site pays per task and the task is always the same...review music! Sign up here with my referral link: http://www.slicethepie.com/?wyd=628867 or go to slicethepie.com .

Work & Pay

You rate the song on a scale of 1-10 and leave a review, which must fill at least half of the small box provided. They're looking for REAL feedback (you would to!), so you can't just say, “It sucked" or “Good song".

You start with a base rate of $0.02 per song, but you should get at least $0.05 because you receive bonus payment for a lengthy, well written review. I've seen reviews earn up to $0.20. The more useful reviews you write, the higher your rank. A higher rank will increase the base payment. There are also bonus tracks that sometimes include hidden bonuses. Payments are made via PayPal.
A quality review includes music related terms such as: lyrics, instrumental, harmony, etc. For maximum benefit your review should also be unique and well written.

Limits

You do have an energy bar that depletes with each review you submit. When the energy runs out you can't give any more reviews. Don't worry though, you earn more energy every 3 minutes.

Referral

There is a referral program for friends as well. Refer as many people as you want. You will receive 10% of your referrals' earnings, but mane sure they sign up using your link! Unfortunately to keep the site from being crowded with people seeking only referral bonuses (you know the ones I mean) the program is time sensitive. You only receive bonuses for a referral for a year after they leave their first review.

Email Processing

One of the most frequent opportunities for working from home is email processing. You just send out x number of emails and get paid for each one. Except that's just what they tell you and not really how it works. Now I can't 100% label it a scam because many of them will pay you, but it's definitely not what you've been told.

For starters, it's generally not free to join. There's a $10-$25 one time start-up fee. Now that you've lost your money, you discover you aren't paid per email sent or read. “Processed" means you sent the email (recruiting someone else to process emails), they opened it, AND paid to sign up for the same miracle program as you.
This is why you see so many ads for email processing. People are posting them everywhere they can because the only way they get paid is if you fall for it too. Of course if you can get others to join most of these programs will pay you per sign up, which is why I said it's not a complete scam. Personally I can't trust something so misleading, but you're free to make your own judgement.

Unfortunately there are many more “programs" of this nature in the work at home world. They go way beyond email processing and end up being a referral program or “pay per sign up". This may seem just as easy to you, but keep in mind many people have already learned how these businesses work and have no desire to join referral programs. Especially not ones they will be expected to pay to join.

Can it be done? Yes. Plenty of people make a living with these programs. You can pay your ads on Craigslist, Facebook classifieds, and work at home forums, but you'll probably have to lie as much as the others and word posts carefully. Most websites frown upon recruiting for referral businesses.
